We are two friends and we started this website in summer 2008.

Having lived in several European countries we do travel a lot in Europe but mostly for short trips (1-2days).

We were always fed up when we landed in the most touristic places. Impossible to get a closer look at the local life unless you actually know somebody.

We decided therefore to create this website for a community that makes insider tips available for everybody across Europe.

Ideal for travellers but also for people to know a bit better their own city, we wanted also to give something back to the contributors of the community: we were able to get some great hotel deals from a partner and to manage further discount for the contributors of the website.

WeeTra is your Insider City Guide for European weekend trips.In here we have collected information about cities in Europe to help us find our way during a city-break.Travelling across Europe has become very easy, however, finding nice spots in cities you don't know has not. We built this webpage to collect our addresses and help everybody to have a very nice weekend.
